A Dam

The Sabara river branches off where the Caete river and the Rio Vermelho meet. The Belgo Mineira Company pours toxic substances into the Sabara river. Ten years ago the company built a cleaning station in the dam. Here the water is separated from the toxic waste. We did not have a chance to visit it to learn about the process.

The group visits the dam.
