Where we are located

The water that supplies our town comes from the river and its tributaries. The Jaguaribe river crosses right through our city. To its right side are the tributaries of Pitombeira, Cajá, Caraúbas, Mutambeira, Mantae Cacimba. On the left are Manuel Lopes, Benfica, Ilha Grande and Jatubarana. Our city has some irrigated areas where rice and beans are grown. Fish and shrimp are bred here as well.
