About our tour: In this tour we are going to tell you about the history and importance of the Jaguaribe River as well as the increasing destruction of this river. The discoveries made in this investigation are leading to the development of an ecological project. Making this tour forced us to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of our local environment as well as got us interested in doing something to help decrease the destruction.
About the authors: This tour was made by 25 students at Cornelio Diogenes, a public high school in Brazil, under the direction of teachers Sergio Barreto, Kenia Edjane, Aline Teixeira, and Adoflo Arthur. Maria Imaculada Elias and Karine Pinheiro de Souza assisted with the online portion of this tour.
