Hydrographic position

The streams that develop the Tapera river are channeled downtown. They are: Arroio Cinco Irmãos, Arroio Ficagna, Arroio Matadouro e Arroio Garrafa. Only the first one (Garrafa) has its springs in the urban area. All the other springs are located in the countryside.
